Braaten & Company is a family-owned employee benefits agency founded in 2018 by Scott and Alyssa Braaten. With over 20 years of combined industry experience, we help businesses and startups navigate employee benefits with confidence. Our approach is personal and hands-on, from reviewing your current plan for potential gaps, savings, and improvements to providing white-glove enrollment support for both employers and employees. At Braaten & Company, you’re never just another account, you’ll receive responsive, personalized guidance from a local team that takes the time to understand your business, your employees, and your goals.

Wruck Sewer and Portable Rentals, researched and implemented the AFLAC program as a benefit for our employees. We are a small company; we average approx. 5 to 7 employees throughout the year. We are not a large enough company to enroll in a manageable and affordable Medical or Dental plan.

We felt that AFLAC would provide our employees with a little extra help with medical, dental and things that life throws at us.

We found that it was quite easy to implement this program. Alyssa explained everything to us from an Employers side of what they have to offer. AFLAC also has a user-friendly web page for Employers to make this process flow smoothly from enrollment to payroll. Because Wruck Sewer and Portable Rentals felt that it was a wonderful Benefit, we have offered to pay a portion each month of what the employees elect for themselves and families.

Alyssa, has been fabulous, she takes the time to meet with each individual around their schedule, regarding what AFLAC offers, the cost, and what you can expect when you enroll in a specific program. There are many programs to choose from that will be able to help every person or family. Most AFLAC programs are Pre-taxed which saves the company and the Employee money. We were wonderfully surprised that we had 100% participation. All 5 of our employees have elected benefits to meet their individual needs. Some have elected a few different programs. If they have questions, Alyssa is always available to communicate with them, and answer their questions.

This has been an awesome benefit to offer while recruiting new potential employees.

As a rapidly growing small business, it is always important that we ensure that as we grow, our benefit offerings continue to grow and support our staff.
